Local Governors
Angela Anterkyi (Headteacher)Attendance from 1st September 2016 to date :I am a Brent resident and have worked at Gladstone Park Primary School as a teacher and part of the leadership team for over 20 years. My three children attended the school; I am committed to ensuring all children have access to quality teaching and are equipped to reach their potential.
Judith Robinson (Chair)I am a parent of two children. The oldest one started in the Gladstone Park nursery in 2004 and is now at secondary school; the youngest is still at GPS. I have enjoyed and appreciated the school’s inclusive, community ethos and in addition, I have seen the changes that have taken place over the last few years. I am interested in and passionate about education at all levels. I am particularly interested in what and how children learn, styles of teaching and the content of the curriculum. In my professional life, I lead an education programme for a national music charity which is particularly concerned with creativity within music and the entitlement of all children to have a quality music education.
Jane Foley (Parent Governor)I grew up in North West London, not far from the school, so have a strong attachment to the local community. I was very pleased to join the Local Governing Body in 2017. As a parent at the school, I have been impressed with the welcoming feel and commitment of the teachers. My role as governor is to help the school continue its progress and build on the success it achieved in the most recent Ofsted inspection.
Rose Webb (Parent Governor)A school parent and local resident, I'm really passionate about improving the wellbeing of the children and families within the Gladstone Park Primary School community. My professional experience comes from the field of Marketing and Communications - I am currently a consultant in this field. I am also a qualified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor and so am very interested in physical and mental wellbeing and nutrition/healthy eating
